Mason Jar Handle - Duck

This mason jar handle has been hand crafted from 4-5 oz veg-tan leather.  The mason jar features a duck taking flight from a bed of cat tails.  The design has been hand tooled and hand painted.  The handle has been created from 4-5 oz leather wrapped around a 8 inch long 1/2 diameter piece of rope.  The seams have been hand sewn with wax thread.  The leather has been stained golden oak, conditioned and sealed with water proof sealant.
