Belt - Mystery Braid

This belt has been hand crafted from 7/8 oz veg-tan leather.  The buckle and loop are antiqued sterling silver.  The length of the belt has been braided into a mystery braid.  What makes it a mystery braid?  Both ends are solid, where does the braid start and where does it end?  The leather has been stained walnut, conditioned and sealed with water proof sealant.
